CeMM provides attractive jobs for young researchers and conducts top-level medical research. Like WU, it cooperates with a number of universities and other research facilities, which helps strengthen these scientific institutions’ positions. This also increases the value of Vienna as a center for research. Our city needs successful, high-performance institutions like CeMM to convince decision makers that investments in science and research are also always investments in our future. This is the only way to ensure that Austria can position itself successfully as a top international scientific and business location.
